Monday 5th September Just so you are aware, we are not able to do what we normally do and start back on a Thursday or Friday in September. This is because of the way in which Surrey County Council term dates fall, and our need for two INSET days - Thursday 1st September and Friday 2nd September. The first day of term will therefore be Monday 5th September.

Please order tickets if you haven’t already done so. Tickets (£5.00) include drink and sweets/ crisps. Children will need to bring along some spare pound coins if they want to purchase finger torches and additional sweets, crisps or drinks

Thank you very much to Claire Price for the generous donation of plants to gardening club. The children were very excited to see such a great selection to support their planting project. We still have room for more plants (particularly hardy,

drought-resistant plants to go in the beds behind the school). If you can help, we would be delighted to hear from you.

We are having a push on times table in school at the moment. Every child should be doing some time on their Times Table Rockstars account as part of their home learning each week (between Thursday and Tuesday). Over the next term, I'll be looking at the weekly figures of active players for each class. The winning class from each year group will have a prize at the end of term.
