  • Christmas Fair Success

    Fri 30 Nov 2018

I can’t thank the FOY enough for organising such an amazing Christmas fair last Saturday. It was great to see so many friends and families come along and support the event. I would particularly like to thank Claire Waters for organising the team of volunteers who came along to set up, run stalls and help pack away at the end. We raised an amazing £3000.00 which we hope to push up further once fund-matching is included. What a great community effort!

  • Well-deserved Yattendon Victory

    Fri 23 Nov 2018

On Thursday, Burstow School held a tournament amongst the local schools and our team

consisting of Year 5 and 6 boys were successful in winning! Not only did they come first, but they did so undefeated! After a closely-fought 2-1 victory over Meath Green, the boys were then able to defeat Burstow in another closely-contested game which ended 1-0. A 3-1 victory followed against Manorfield which meant that the final game against Langshott would be

winner takes all...which Yattendon did! 4-1 was the final score after a spectacular second half performance from goalkeeper to striker. The team played and passed as one and have really done themselves proud. We look forward to future fixtures after what promises to be a great start.

  • Christmas Fair Donations

    Fri 16 Nov 2018

Friends of Yattendon would like children to bring in at least two of the following during next week: treats for the chocolate tombola; bottle for the bottle tombola; gifts for grown-ups for the Curiosity Shop. FOY would also love you to send in cakes on Friday for the cake stall (in a named container). As a bit of an incentive, it will be mufti day on Friday 23rd November for all the children who have brought in the donations described above. Please don’t forget to come along to the fair next Saturday 24th from 12 noon to 2:30pm. Thank you if you are one of the fabulous parents or carers volunteering your help.

  • Assessments

    Fri 09 Nov 2018

Please note that next week, children in Years 3 to 5 will be assessed in English and Maths. These are internal assessments used to support teachers’ planning. Please help your children keep them in perspective and not become anxious. Thank you
