We have pupils with severe nut allergies in school and have noticed children bringing in food that contains nuts. We have at least one child who will have a serious reaction purely from the smallest amount of nut being in the environment near them. Even a nut product eaten near them would cause a very serious reaction requiring medical intervention. Some children have even been eating peanut butter sandwiches in school. Please check the ingredients of any food product your child brings in. Some foods contain traces of nuts and even these would be sufficient to make some of our children very unwell.

Our amazing Year 6 netball team played their socks off on Monday. They didn’t concede one single goal, scoring 9-0 against Charlwood, 9-0 against Langshott and 8-0 against Burstow. As you can imagine, they finished the afternoon as netball champions. Well done to all the team. You are deserving recipients of the ‘Sportspeople of the Week’ award.
