‘Sportsperson of the Term’ is Fraser from 6W. For superb performances at district sports. Fraser led the Year 6’s to victory in the 4x100m relay and has worked tirelessly on his technique during training. An excellent athlete who will be sorely missed next year!

 

Today Yattendon competed in Horley Schools District Sports. The children arrived at K2 keen to do their best and help us retain our title. I don’t want to single children out for particular praise as all children performed to their very best. The quality of the competition was extremely high this year. There were phenomenal performances from Yattendon children with Year 6 securing the highest points in the year group competition. This year, we didn’t do quite enough to gain first place, coming second to Meath Green, but I was nevertheless very proud of the sportsmanship and attitude I saw. The result will make us all the more determined next year of course!
