In the last couple of weeks, Yattendon has competed in two East Surrey county finals. Firstly, the netball team travelled to Warlingham last week and finished in a very respectable 6th place. Well done to all involved, including some great

performances from Ella, Luca, Ollie and Emily.

Secondly, the quicksticks hockey team played their finals at Woldingham School. With some very experienced and talented opposition, Yattendon managed to finish fourth in their group. Particularly strong contributions were made by Peter, Harry and Lily.

On Thursday Yattendon competed in the first tag rugby tournament of the year at Manorfield. With a mixture of Year 4/5/6 children playing, as well as strong representation from the girls. We ended up finishing in third place. Special mentions go to Matthew (5R) and Daisy (6S).

Now that the weather is getting hotter please make sure your child brings in a water bottle filled with fresh water to school every day so they don’t dehydrate!

Please can they also apply sun tan lotion to exposed areas before they arrive at school and ensure they have a cap which will be worn at break, lunch and during PE lessons.
