Don’t forget to return nomination forms in relation to our Parent Governor vacancy. Becoming a school governor gives you a chance to help shape the development priorities for Yattendon so that the school continues to enable children to thrive. The main governing body meet in the evening five times a year.

Please make sure you have purchased tickets for Friday’s fireworks as soon as possible. This enables FOY to judge the quantity of food and drink bought and avoids anyone being disappointed. There will be the option of paying for food and drink by card on the evening, as FOY has just acquired a card reader. However, we would be grateful if you can pay by cash if at all possible.

I’m sure many of you have booked appointments online by now. However, please do so by Wednesday 10th at the latest. Help is available in the office if you have any difficulties. Please note that appointments are restricted to ten minutes so if you find you need longer please speak to your child’s teacher about this.

 

Bookings can be made using the Tucasi online system. This enables you to choose a convenient appointment time to meet with your child’s teacher. (This is the same system you use to make online payments for trips or dinner money). Parents and Carers can make a booking by following the link to the Tucasi website via our school website www.yattendon.org - via the ‘online payments’ button - or by logging directly into the Tucasi login page: www.scopay.com .

 

If you do not already have an online account for any reason, please contact the school office team who will be happy to help. Unfortunately, if you have forgotten your password, the office staff will not be able to assist you, but you will be able to re-set it via the Tucasi login page: www.scopay.com .

 

You will be able to access the online facility to make appointments for parent consultations from 6:00pm on Tuesday 2^nd October until 10am on Wednesday 10^th October 2018. Remember that the sooner you book, the more likely you will be to get your preferred appointment slot. The appointments are available on the following dates:

 

Monday 15^th October 5:30pm to 8:30pm OR Tuesday 16^th October 3:30pm to 6:30pm

 

If you do not have access to the internet at home, then we are able to help you at the school office. No formal appointments are required, but please understand that if several parents seek this support at the same time, there may be a delay in helping you.

 

We encourage ALL parents and carers to see their child’s class teacher/s at this important point in the year as this is a good way to check how your child is settling in to the new academic year. If your child has additional needs and you would like to meet a member of our inclusion team, please make this clear through putting a message in your child's Home-School Contact Book. Mrs Morgan (years 3 & 4) or Mrs Coulson (years 5 & 6) will then arrange to meet with you.
