Surrey South Farnham SCITT Partnership

Ofsted: An outstanding provider (March 2014)
“Training of the highest quality which enables trainees to put the theory they learn into practice in the classroom”

Yattendon  School is a partner school in the Surrey South Farnham School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SSF SCITT) Program – an ‘outstanding’ teacher training program.

Yattendon can offer outstanding mentors to trainee teachers and has an excellent record of supporting trainees through this excellent program.

Several members of our teaching team have been through the SCITT process and were judged as 'outstanding' trainees. We currently have Mr Keyte based in Yattendon School as a SCITT trainee and he will benefit greatly from the experience of several colleagues who are familiar with this program.

SSF is looking to recruit high calibre honours graduates who wish to train as a primary school teacher on a School Direct training programme in the academic year 2017/18. An information event is being hosted at Yattendon School on 14th November, starting at 7:30pm.

We train across the whole of Surrey but are especially keen to recruit to Yattendon School and the other schools within the Horley Learning Partnership.
