Yattendon Freecycle/Donate Scheme

Welcome to our Yattendon ‘Freecycle’ page to support members of the school community. We also hope that, through voluntary donations, it will build a fund to support families who may find it difficult to pay for their children to take part in residential trips.

If you have something you want to give away, please take a photo and short description of the item and send this with your contact email address to kburgess@yattendon.surrey.sch.uk .

If you see an item that you would like, the idea is that you contact the advertiser and arrange to pick it up. If you want to (and this is purely voluntary) you can then donate an amount to the school fund via your SCOPAY account under the Freecycle tab which is located under products. Alternatively, you may make a cheque out to 'Yattendon School' as long as it is placed in an envelope making clear that it is a donation that is part of the Freecycle scheme. We will commit to using all donations made this way to finance residential trips for families that find these hard to afford.

In Summary

We hope this scheme helps families by:

1. Transferring unwanted items to families that would like them.
2. Making residential trips more affordable to families with low income (beyond the help already on offer).
