I am delighted to tell you that, with the support of the governors, we have employed additional teachers next year to boost our ‘Closing Gaps Strategy’ aimed at giving children additional help. We hope this valuable extra resource will go a long way to compensating for any loss of learning and/or confidence through school closure. I will be writing again before the end of the term to explain our strategy for the 2021-22 academic year in more detail.

It’s wonderful to have a taste of summer at last!  Hopefully you saw the Studybugs message sent out yesterday confirming that school ties will be optional from this coming Monday until the end of term. This decision was made in light of the higher temperatures next week. Please do send your child into school each day with a cap or sun hat. We will be asking children who are not wearing these to sit in the shade for part of their lunch break to reduce their exposure to the sun. Thank you!
