  • Reminders

    Fri 08 Oct 2021

Please make sure you have booked a parent  consultation appointment by Wednesday 13th October (10:00am) at the latest so that your child’s class teacher can meet with you and discuss their progress. Please return the ‘Acceptable User Agreement’ signed by you and your child. Please take time to go through the agreement with your child. Whilst we are encouraging ALL parents to return these, a signed copy of the agreement MUST be received by us from 15th October onwards if you wish for your child to continue bringing a mobile phone to school. Thank you. Don’t forget the FOY Zoom meeting at 8:00pm on Monday 11th        October. Funds raised this year will go towards restocking our library and improvements to our Forest School equipment. The zoom link will be sent on Studybugs today and Monday.

  • Parent Consultations 19th and 20th October

    Mon 04 Oct 2021

An overwhelming majority of parents requested a return to a face-to-face parents’ evening  in our survey. Please make sure you read the letter that was sent out yesterday telling you how to book an appointment and explaining how we will be adapting our usual format to make the evening as safe as possible. It is really important that you arrive five minutes before your appointment time, as we will be sticking strictly to the time slots allocated throughout the evening to avoid anyone getting cold waiting outside. As per the letter, the hall has four entrances and teachers from each year group will be calling their next appointment from the door allocated to their year group. A bell will be rung at the end of the appointment time and we ask parents to end their appointments promptly. As previously, additional  appointments may be requested if nine minutes proves insufficient.
Class teachers will be sharing information about your child’s recent assessments as well as talking about how your children have settled in this year. In the summer parent questionnaire, you told us you would like clearer information about your child’s attainment and any additional support they need, and so we are keen to make sure this happens early in the year.
