Internet safety has been on the news today and clearly there are continuing concerns about children’s unsupervised use of social media etc without the maturity to fully understand website terms and conditions and the potential for harm. As I said in a previous Friday Flyer, I would urge parents to make sure that all their children’s tablet and online activity happens in family rooms. We teach internet safety in school of course, but education cannot keep pace with innovation in IT, and so one way to help keep children safe is to ensure their access to the internet is supervised.
