OSCAHS: Breakfast and After School Club 

 

OSCAHS are a well-established private childcare provider based within schools across Surrey. We are very proud to be part of Yattendon School’s community and work closely with the school community to provide a flexible childcare service to parents. 

Breakfast Club opens at 7.30am and the After School Club closes at 6pm.

Frequently asked Questions? 

What will my child do at OSCAHS?

OSCAHS ethos is based on the Playwork Principles, which encourage children to learn through a variety of Play opportunities. This may include a selection of board games, art & craft, group games and physical activities both in the playground and in the school’s hall. 

 

What will my child have to eat?

Breakfast is served up from 7.30 to 8.20. Please ensure your child arrives in time for breakfast.
Breakfast Club Menu:

  • Choice of breakfast cereals
  • Toast/Waffles/Brioche/Cereals/Crumpets
    Fresh fruit and water is available throughout the session
  • We offer a healthy snack at our After School Club during session which may include:

Afternoon snacks are available from 3:30 to 4pm. On rotation, there is a choice of

  • Tiger Bread/Sliced Bread/Wraps/Crackers/ Malt loaf and Pitta Bread. This is served along with a selection of Chicken roll, cheese, Fresh veg, such as peppers and cucumbers.
  • Also a variety of spreads on occasions
  • Variety of Fresh fruits everyday
  • Water available throughout the session

If your child has any food allergies or intolerances, please ensure to include this information when registering online. Please note OSCAHS is a nut free club. 

 

How do I register?

Families will need to complete the registration online. Please go to www.oscahs.com and click on the ‘Join & Book Now’ tab to create your account.

Families will need to complete all sections of the registration process before they can book online.

How do I make payment?

Once families have completed their bookings, they will be able to arrange a payment plan.

OSCAHS welcomes payments through the government’s Tax-Free Childcare (TFC) scheme, as well as childcare voucher groups (such as Edenred, Computershare etc.)

Families can also pay by debit or credit card through the booking system. Alternatively, families can pay via bank transfer or Standing Order.

 

What experience/qualifications do staff hold?

All OSCAHS staff have a clear DBS check. The senior leadership team are qualified in Playworker and/or childcare to at least NVQ Level 3 and hold a minimum of two years’ experience. As well as ensuring that we have a qualified First Aider and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) at each session, staff also hold certificates in Safeguarding, Food Hygiene and Behaviour Management. Staff receive regular supervisions, as well as annual appraisals to identify any training needs.
