Welcome to our website. I hope you enjoy exploring the site and hope that it will give you some insight into the life and work of our school. I am very proud of all that goes on at Yattendon and hope you gain a sense of the passion for learning and sense of fun that thrive here.

Year 5 Trip to Mercer's Lake Children in Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed an excellent two days of team-building and water sports activities at Mercer's Lake. They worked collaboratively to design and build their own rafts, which they then tested out on the lake. After a well-earned lunch break, the children took part in a range of exciting activities including paddleboarding, kayaking and windsurfing. Throughout both days, all the children demonstrated enthusiasm, resilience and teamwork. They had an amazing experience and truly embodied the Yattendon values in everything they did.

Fiesta Fun in Year 5! To bring the study of Brazil alive in Year 5, last Wednesday was 'Samba Day'. The following was written by Charlie: Samba Day was incredibly fun! We got to play the drums and other instruments, have a party and make our own headdresses. We performed the carnival music we had practised to our parents at the end of the day! Charlie Y5
