JOB TITLE:               CARETAKER

PAY GRADE:            £15,581 pa, based on minimum of Surrey pay range PS4, £18,698-£20,653 FTE (full time equivalent). Salary negotiable depending on experience.

HOURS:                     30 hrs per week, expected to be from 7:15am –2:15pm Mon-Fri, to include unpaid breaks of 1 hour daily. 52 weeks per year (negotiable). Annual leave 24 days plus bank holidays, with an additional 4 days leave after 5 years service (pro rata for contracts less than 52 weeks).         

CONTRACT:             Permanent, part-time contract (6 months probationary period applies), to start as soon as possible.


We are seeking a pro-active and reliable caretaker to become an important member of our school team.

We require someone who will take pride in ensuring our recently extended and refurbished school is maintained to a high standard with the health and safety of our children being their top priority.

We are fortunate to have extensive grounds, including a new all-weather pitch and a recently refurbished building. We require someone to ensure that our premises are kept clean, safe and always looking their best.

We can offer the successful candidate access to Continued Professional Development opportunities with ‘Strictly Education 4S’ or arranged with other local schools. There may be scope to develop this role to include more administrative tasks or additional responsibilities in the future to reflect the needs of the school.

We have a vacancy for a part-time teacher (2 days/week) with a specialism in music to commence after the Easter holidays in April 2020.

Salary negotiable within Teachers Main pay range.
