CLASSROOM TEACHERS (Maternity Covers)

1. Full time, Year 4, to start 21st Feb 2021

2. Part time (2 days/week), Year 4, to start 7th March 2022

 

We have two vacancies for fixed term maternity cover for two year 4 classroom teachers,

one full time and the other for 2 days per week, both commencing after February half term (Spring  2022).

Salaries are  negotiable within Teachers Main Pay range (or Unqualified Teachers Scale as appropriate).

SPECIALIST MUSIC TEACHER (2 days/week)

 

We have a vacancy for a part-time teacher (2 days/week) with a specialism in Music to commence in Spring term (January 2022).

Salary negotiable within Teachers Main Pay range (or Unqualified Teachers Scale as appropriate).

 

We are looking for either an experienced QTS music teacher who has taught at KS1, KS2 or KS3 or a music specialist with appropriate degree in a music related subject and knowledge fop the KS2 music curriculum. 

This is for a 2 days a week (0.4 full-time equivalent) permanent teaching contract in line with the national STPCD pay and conditions. 

Current working days in school are Tuesdays and Wednesdays (though this can be negotiable).

Learning Support Assistant (LSA) & Mid-day Assistant (MDA)

(part time: school day & term times only)

Required to start as soon as possible in Autumn term 2021.

Hours:                   29.25 hrs/wk in total, comprising 24.25 LSA hrs/wk, plus an additional 5 hrs/wk for Mid-day (lunchtime) Assistant [MDA]

                               duties. Mondays to Fridays, 8:45-3:15pm.

Contract:             This is a part-time, term-time-only (38 wks /year in school) contract, plus paid leave in school holiday periods, plus an

                              opportunity for occasional INSET days for training (for which additional hours are paid).  6-month probationary period applies.

Surrey Pay:         LSA role: £18,013-£18,957 FTE dep. on experience for LSA role (from £10,171-£10,905 p.a. pro-rata);  plus MDA role: £17,833

                             FTE for MDA role (£2,076 p.a. pro-rata); Total: from min. £12,247p.a. gross.

Learning Support Assistants work either one-to-one with particular children, or in leading small group work and in supporting class teachers across a particular year group. You will be proactive and able to use your initiative to help build positive and respectful working relationships with particular children, some of whom may have challenging needs. You will also need a love of learning and to be open to continuing professional development in order to improve your own knowledge and experience to meet the ever-changing needs of our children.
