On Wednesday afternoon our Year 5/6 Girls Football team competed in a seven-a-side football tournament hosted at Ardingly College. We played in a league alongside Ardingly,

Cumnor House and St. Bede's. The girls were incredible across the entire afternoon, with outstanding teamwork, sportsmanship and understanding of the game. Our results were: 3-0, 2-0, 6-0 and 3-0. It is exceptional to play four matches without conceding a goal, particularly against some very talented opposition. We finished on top of the league table with maximum points. Brooke was awarded the 'Stand-Out Player Award' and was recognised for her superb attacking ability, unselfish style of play and tremendous technique. The whole team worked together and every member shone. An extremely successful afternoon and one that the Yattendon community should be very proud of.
