Next week is anti-bullying week and we will be holding assemblies on this year’s theme of ‘change starts with us’. As well as discussing and exploring this important issue, we will be reminding the children of the various ways they can make sure staff know about any bullying behaviour that may be going on so that it can be tackled properly. Fortunately, incidents of bullying at Yattendon are rare, but we need to be vigilant and constantly remind children of the importance of speaking up.
