Following a review of site safety discussed by governors, we are making some changes to improve the control of access to the building. You may have noticed a new fence along the back path which is part of these changes. Recently, we have asked that all visitors to come in via the main entrance and do not use other outside doors to access the building. However, the new fence provides a physical reminder and helps us make sure all visitors use the one entrance and sign in.

Lili, Ella, Imogen and Darcie have worked hard all week selling books that you kindly donated. I have to say that, thanks to your support, the customers have kept coming! By Wednesday, the girls had made over £100.00! They should, of course, be incredibly proud of themselves. They have given up virtually all their break time this week so that they could raise money to help someone from a different continent who struggles to find the money they need to access education. The girls have been truly inspirational and thoroughly deserve the success they have achieved this week.

Please help our wonderful FOY by ordering tickets for Thursday evening’s disco over the weekend. This will help them estimate numbers and make sure they have enough refreshments in stock. Tickets are available at www.pta-events.co.uk/foy. Year 3 & 4 disco runs from 5:00pm to 6:30pm; Year 5 & 6 disco runs from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Please note we do not allow children to go home from discos unless collected by an adult or we receive written permission from a parent with an alternative arrangement explained.
