We have been focusing on our school rules in assembly this week.  Our rules, in case you don’t know are ‘be ready, be  respectful, be safe’.  The last two of our rules are self-explanatory, but ‘being ready’ is about being ready to learn.  This includes having the right equipment and having the right learning habits.  We are rightly proud of our inclusive  approach at Yattendon, and the work we invest in developing a relational approach to behaviour management. But there’s always things we can do better, and this week was a chance for the children to deepen their understanding of why rules are important in our community.
