Last Friday, the year 5/6 girls football tournament took place.  In the past, this has seen 10 girls from across the two year groups taking part.  However, as we have so many girls at Yattendon engaging in football both in and out of school, we took the opportunity to enter two teams into the tournament.  Both teams played with great skill and we kept a clean sheet in all our games.  Two goals from Amber meant that one of our teams secured second place in the  tournament, while the other team came joint third.  As always, the girls showed excellent sporting behaviours and were a credit to the school.
