Next week Year 4 are enjoying various opportunities to get to know children from Meath Green Juniors and Brooklands School. Both Meath Green Junior and Yattendon pupils will be finding our more about the special abilities of children attending Brooklands School during a joint sports event, music event and creative workshop. This last activity will take place at Brooklands itself. We are hoping that the children from all three schools benefit from sharing time with each other and comparing their lives and experiences of school. Our school council have already visited Brooklands School and will be presenting an assembly on Monday to share the knowledge they have gained about Brookland’s specialist facilities and the children they met. We are fortunate that one of our parents is the Head Teacher of Brooklands School and this provided a wonderful opportunity.
