INSET - Change of Date!
Back at the beginning of this term, you will be aware that the government made a very last minute announcement about school closures. Several Surrey schools took the decision to have an emergency INSET day on Monday 4th January. As we had already scheduled an INSET for this Monday, we did not need to do this. However, looking ahead to half term, we currently have an INSET arranged for Friday 12th February. In light of the fact that the government have indicated that schools will close until half term, we feel it is more sensible to move our INSET day to Monday 22nd February in case an announcement is made over half term that requires significant re-organisation on the Monday. Given that there is no travel at the moment, we hope that this change does not inconvenience you. However, please do get in touch if this causes any problems and you are a frontline NHS worker (for instance if work rotas have been planned well in advance). This change will mean that remote learning will be set on Friday 12th February, but not on Monday 22nd February.
